After having spent many years as a full time mom, it was time to look for a meaningfull hobby, preferably something that had to do with dogs. Together with a friend I went to several shows, hoping to find a breed that would suit me, but there were so many nice breeds to choose among...

In summer of 1993 the whole family went on a trip to southern Europe. On our way home we had to pass through Sweden and there I discovered a lady advertising maltese puppies for sale in a local newspaper. This breed had fascinated me for quite some time, but I had been reluctant because of the prospect of time consuming coat-grooming which hadn't exactly appealed to me. We decided to have a look at the puppies anyway.

Me and "Filla"

When we arrived, we met two sweethearts and the sight was simply breathtaking. Those two soft, snow-white balls ran around in-between the legs of big heavy bulldogs. Despite their small size they were self confident and elegant. It was love at first sight. That's how our little 'Fiffi' came to our home. A choice we have never regretted. Later that year we met a little Løwchen lady in the showring. We decide immediately to have one of these little amusing entertainers as well. The search for a Løwchen took a long time. After almost two years we had to give up our hope to find one in Norway and therefore we went to England, where we bought a nice bitch from the Hanovarian kennels. In november our party-colour girl Hanovarian Presteen was sent to us and we named her 'Penny'. All our bitches are descendend from this Løwchen bitch.

All my dogs live with me in the house. And my puppies are born and grow up in the livingroom. I try to breed healthy and mentaly stable dogs. If i also can get the right breed-type I have succeeded in my intentions. Take a look for your self...
